The Series 3 is a temperature compensating, out of circuit vaporiser in a traditional design, familiar to most veterinary practitioners. Calibrated specifically for the specified anaesthetic drug using a laser refractometer.

Key filled

Key filled systems require the addition of key filler adaptors but are generally safer and have a lot less wastage compared to standard funnel filled vaporisers, saving you money in the long run.

• Fresh gas flow -200cc to 15 litres/minute period
• Ambient temperature -18°c to 35°c

Resistance to gas flow

• 5cm H²O at "OFF" setting at 5 litre/minute oxygen.
• 21-29cm H²O when delivering vapour in 5 litre/minute oxygen at 21°c

• Calibration range 0.5% through to 5% v.v in 0.5% increments
• Fluctuations in temperature, flow rate, and duration of use is automatically compensated for during use
• When used with the I.P.P.V. the variation in outputs is negligible

Servicing:
Vaporisers should be returned to Burtons periodically for servicing. The interval between services will be dependent upon the type of agent and how much usage the unit is subject to, but as a minimum the vaporiser should be serviced at least once in every three years.

Keeping the vaporiser above 18° will ensure optimum performance.

Service Exchange:
Our on site service engineers are equipped with gas analysers to validate the output of your vaporiser whilst servicing your anaesthetic machine, if the output is outside acceptable tolerances they will suggest the vaporiser is service exchanged.

We understand that most users cannot be without their vaporiser when servicing is required. To avoid this inconvenience a service exchange scheme is operated by our service centre.
