The new construction of The Cat Cube uses our newest material that is anti-bacterial, and completely water resistant. With toughened glass doors as standard. Giving your feline patients a warm, safe, quiet & comfortable place to stay
Cat Cubes, also known as Condos, have been designed around feline needs, with features such as a built-in resting shelf and pass through horizontal portholes that can be opened or closed allowing increased space for the patient or access to litter.
Our new Cat Cubes are made with a foam core of closed cell PVCU with a solid PVC surface. This specifically chosen board is non-toxic, formaldehydes free, non-porous and resistant to bacteria and completely impervious to liquid. Which means you get a cat cube that is comfortable, easy to clean and long lasting! Not to mention that WCB board is also made completely from recycled materials and can also be recycled too!
Cat cubes use a simple stack design, making installation easy and can be used in conjunction with a purpose made laminate cat pedestal raising the bank to a comfortable working height and giving extra storage in the boarding area.
The pass through horizontal portholes work in conjunction with external sliding dividers which can be opened or closed from outside the cube.
Doors
The toughened glass doors allow for easy patient observation with ample ventilation and a simple one-touch push, quiet catch.
Banks
Cat cubes are sold in left, middle and right hand designs to allow for correct pass through set up, if you require a smaller 2 cube bank simply miss out the middle cube, or if you require a longer run just add more middle cubes to your order. Cat cubes require a minimum size of 2x1 bank with the ideal bank being 3x2
All of our cages are available in standard sizes from stock with special made to measure sizes available on request. The completely modular, standardised design ensures your bank can grow with your practice.
If hospitalisation is required, we would recommend using our ‘Quiet Time’ Polypropylene or ‘Lifetime’ Stainless Steel veterinary cages, which are specifically designed for use in a clinical care environment.

Care of your Burtons Cat Cubes
• Applying cleaner directly to the surface of the cube can cause staining— apply using cleaning cloth instead.
• Always dilute the cleaner to the manufacturer’s guidelines.
• Dry up any standing liquid
• Abrasive cleaning materials should not be used.
Maintenance of your Laminate Burtons Cat Cubes
From time to time dependent upon cleaning regimes and animal behaviour the silicon sealant may need to be renewed, this is not covered by Burtons unlimited first-year warranty as it is considered to be a consumable item. It is recommended that a high modulus silicone is used to reseal the units. High modulus sealants withstand cleaning much better and make a stiffer and more rigid seal. A competent handyman can renew the sealant. This will not affect your manufacturer’s warranty.
